One of the many unexpected joys that comes with being a family portrait photographer is watching children grow up and their families expand. I love being able to photograph and document a family as it grows together through the years.
Every other year this family and I get together and I love seeing how much “K” has grown and how her personality has blossomed. Some things never change though, like her love for reading, her passion for sports, carefree personality and her sense of humor. It’s like getting together with old friends each time we do a family session!
This year we went back to one of our favorite spots, Verona Park. This park is great because of the variety of backgrounds from the lake and river to the woods or the field, and all those cute old buildings.
