Watching kids and families grow up year after year through photo sessions is so much fun – we have inside jokes and a history of working together that makes each sequential photo shoot easier and more fun. Eventually, I become part of the family and that’s definitely what’s happened here.

I love working with this sweet family! This family session was planned around two previous sessions that we have done in the same location so we could re-create some of our favorite images.  Yes, this family has a “famous photo” that lives above their mantel and gets replaced every few years! Here are those photos! Aren’t they fun?!

For this new, updated portrait session they chose a neutral color palette with mom in burgundy, which looks amazing at this historic location, against all the old walls and buildings at Waterloo Village, in Byram Township, Sussex County, NJ.
