After our adventurous and fun cherry blossom session this spring, I’m so happy to share portraits of baby Clara in all the pretty pinks.
These photos were taken at home when she was 5 days old. Her big sis is still adjusting to their new family of four, but from what I witnessed she’s turning into an amazing sister – happy to hold her and eager to feed her, giving kisses on command. <3 I always love watching kids grow up through my portrait sessions with their family and luckily for me I get to see these two a little more often since their mom is a coworker and dear friend of mine. We talked about future pool dates and grateful dead shows in our future! Woohooo!
Throughout her newborn session I used as many combinations of pink as I could. Clara looked so cute and cuddly on a gorgeous crocheted pink blanket my friend Racquel of Racquel Marie Photography made and with a pink ruffled diaper cover on. While photographing her I could see so much of her older sister in her facial expressions – especially in that nose!
Both Mimi and Clara had matching minnie mouse dresses their grandmother made for them for their sister photos and the family photos were taken in front of their fireplace in the living room where gorgeous morning sunlight poured in.
