This gorgeous mama-to-be has been calling herself the “pumpkin smuggler” which I absolutely adore! What better way to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a fall baby then with a maternity session at a gorgeous outdoor setting as the leaves start to turn their fall colors?!

Since they’re a bit further along in their pregnancy journey, they wanted to document this joyous time in their lives with a maternity session. We looked for a location nearby that would offer some fall colors and whimsical grasses and ended up falling in love with Baldpate Mountain in Hopewell, NJ as the location for their session because it offered all of that PLUS the flowers currently in bloom were so pretty and it has beautiful mountain views. It ended up being the perfect place filled with warm colors and apple trees, that perfectly complimented their outfit color palette of burnt orange and blue.
*Side note: Baldpate Mountain in Hopewell, NJ is actually my favorite mountain to hike in the area! It has a nice little climb up the mountain with an awesome rock scramble halfway through. At the top you get a nice view of the delaware river valley among other beautiful features such as old barns and a garden. And it doesn’t take too long to do, so you’ll find me there hiking almost weekly!

These two were nothing but smiles, ear to ear, all night long. You can see their love shine in every photograph they take together. It’s exciting to see two people who are just so enthusiastic about becoming parents and welcoming their baby boy into their arms. <3
