It’s no surprise to anyone that fall is a popular time for family photography – and you already know why with the beautiful colorful leaves we have in the Northeast. This family session was full of color! I don’t think we could have picked a better day for their family session.

This family session was planned around a previous session that we did in the same location so we could re-create some of our favorite images from the last photo shoot with their newest son, now that their family is complete. And I have to say…. we nailed it! The first photo, above, is beautifully hung above their mantel in the living room and looks gorgeous! Thank you so much, S Family, for trusting me and supporting me. I love working with you!

For this portrait session they chose a rich color scheme of burgundy, blue, and tan – it went perfectly with the background colors at this location. Waterloo Village is full of historic buildings and varied landscaping. The siblings have grown so much since our last time working together just a couple years ago and it was so much fun to get to interact with them and see how their personalities have grown. But also to see how much they love and support each other. These siblings are growing up to be the best of friends and it’s heartwarming. If you’d like to see them, they have an awesome YouTube channel, Skys World: https://youtube.com/c/skysworld

I hope you’ll enjoy the highlight reel from their portrait session. It was definitely hard for me to narrow down to the best photos to share in this post. I’m starting with my faves: a series of candid photos of the kids throwing leaves at me! This is always a crowd pleaser and gets the kids to warm up to my camera when they know they’re allowed to be silly. Love their faces in these!
