Happy Birthday, Asher + Roman!
For these twins first birthday portraits we headed to the beach in Manasquan, NJ to celebrate, play, and do a cake smash. This was the last of 5 portrait sessions we did together this year, capturing each 3 month milestone. Their newborn session was a lifestyle session in their home. At 3 months, we set up a studio within their home for a fall themed and colored session. Then at 6 months we did the same with an all white theme. At 9 months we took portraits in the back yard and incorporated zoo animals to coincide with their first birthday party theme. Now at 12 months, we went to the beach! These two are already well on their way to being beach bums and were so happy to be playing in the sand and ocean.
Watching these two grow up over the last year and capturing their milestones has been such an honor and so much fun. I’m really going to miss them and their family after spending so much time together this past year. With each new portrait session they grew so much and it was so much fun to watch their personalities blossom and see how they interact with one another. I loved watching them play in the sand together and they were all smiles for their portraits.
Here are some highlights from their beach session:
The last portion of our day together was the cake smash. We set up towels and sand toys for a really cute beachy theme. As you can see, it didn’t go perfectly according to plan and Roman was able to snag a bit of his brothers cake. While Roman was getting washed off in the ocean, Asher was getting snuggled into a better mood and the session ended in big smiles from all.
