New Jersey’s gorgeous cherry blossom trees bloom once a year for one week only so having your photo taken in them is pure magic! It takes a little bit of adventure and spontaneity to plan these sessions as it’s unpredictable when exactly they’ll bloom in which part of NJ, but luckily for me my mamas/clients are always down for an adventure and willing to wait for the perfect date of “full bloom”.
This family is dear friends of mine and we’ve been talking about doing a cherry blossom session together since last spring. It was such an unpredictable and amazing coincidence that they’re currently expecting baby #2 and we were able to take some maternity photos during their planned family session! The soft pink cherry blossoms and gorgeous magnolia trees were the perfect backdrop for these long awaited portraits.
Big sister was so happy – she was running around, showing off her big beautiful smile, and twirling in her ballerina tutu. She has such a large personality for such a little girl and being able to capture her laughs in her family photos was so rewarding!
